In his showcased series, Sophisticated Simplicity - 40’s collection, Suliman Innab creates elegant compositions reflected by the fusion of metal and marble. These pieces are created with different finishes, in a minimal framework of geometry. A mixed media sculpture inspired by ‘Ode to a Human Soul’, a poem by Avicenna, Adel Abidin creates a suspended object that radiates light and depicts an intangible outline of a dove, reflecting Avicenna’s verses visually, which signify eternity detached from the heavenly sphere.
