Set between hills and the Amman National Forest, the community space is nestled in an olive grove where Jordanians and Iraqi refugees have been working in a number of activities. The space is open to the public on the weekends, allowing families to enjoy the various activities, food, live music, and market showcasing work by community producers from all over Jordan.

As of 2017, Jordan still does not have a nationwide household recycling program. This exhibition aims to highlight the large amount of waste created on a daily basis throughout the country, and seeks to create awareness about the importance of properly recycling, reusing, and disposing of waste.

The exhibition presents a number of mixed media works that depict what the artist regards as precious instruments of manipulation control and systematic permeation of culture. This is revealed through a simple process of importation and exportation – an almost transfusion of sorts that conceals larger or perhaps more ominous aspects than what actually meets the eye.

Visit ‘Love on a Bike’ to participate in solving a 2000-piece jigsaw puzzle of one of Rima Malallah’s paintings. After a week of communal puzzle solving, a time-lapse video of the group effort will be created and shared online.
