About the Event
The Mercy Garden project was launched in 2015 by Caritas Jordan, inside the Campus of our Lady of Peace Monastery in Naur area. Set between hills and the Amman National Forest, the community space is nestled in an olive grove where Jordanians and Iraqi refugees have been working in a number of activities, including organic farming, upcycling of wood waste into furniture, natural olive oil soap production, food processing, baking, cooking and catering, sewing and embroidery, as well as added-value services. The space is open to the public on the weekends, allowing families to enjoy the various activities, food, live music, and market showcasing work by community producers from all over Jordan.
