About the Exhibition
By using the ancient bas-relief technique, Abidin deconstructs and carefully remodels selected online images of an army deployment by recomposing their physical and psychological aspects. The visual deconstruction and remodelling that Abidin presents in this exhibition, reflect his perspective on the aftermath of some systems' organised collapse and the emergence of new matrices. These aftermath matrices embody hybrid incoherent identities, relics and perspectives that results in many complex hypotheses about the outcome of disassembling some regimes. The exhibitions contain a number of multimedia sculptures. The opening is on the 7th of October, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
