The "Lightweaver" workshop is part of the "Design for a Nomadic World" exhibition, which explores how art, architecture and design can address the emotional, cultural and aesthetic needs of refugees, while fostering a better cross-cultural understanding and a social cohesion between migrant and host communities.

This workshop is an introduction to the basics of Blender, an open source computer graphics software used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D modeling, video games and much more.

The ‘A Chair Tale’ exhibition uses a common household item – the chair – as a lens from which to tell a story about identity and material culture. The exhibition features myriad chairs of diverse upholstery, shapes and styles, each with their own story to tell. In this exhibition, the chairs represent these shared experiences and stories.

In collaboration with the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training, Pure Felt Jordan created large scale tactile felt murals, felt art installations and felt interior products that matter and can be touched.

SADDA design and build invites you to explore our studio during Amman Design Week, exhibiting its design work, furniture pieces, and artwork as well as organizing a variety of programs that integrate design with music. The studio will showcase installations of furniture pieces executed by Indoor Modern Furniture, and special musical performance by Tariq Al Jundi and Nasser Salameh.

Set between hills and the Amman National Forest, the community space is nestled in an olive grove where Jordanians and Iraqi refugees have been working in a number of activities. Aiming to support and enhance the interior design field throughout Jordan, JIDA organizes an annual competition for interior design students at Jordanian universities. This exhibition displays the works of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students who participated in this year’s competition.

Taking place at the Children’s Museum Jordan’s Tinker Lab, this workshop is designed for children to tinker with old toys and transform them into new creations. Each participant will choose a toy, deconstruct it, and then reconstruct it again to create an new invention.

Sounds of Design is a sound exhibition that highlights the processes of creation across a number of design fields. An immersive space with a carefully designed speaker system takes visitors on a journey through the sounds of materials, machines, human interactions, and other components that go into the creation of a design product, whether an item of furniture, piece of clothing, or an aesthetically pleasing dish.
