This exhibition explores ideas of home, delving into the meaning of place and home in an age of forced migration and immigration – of home as an internal orientation where the idea of belonging to a place may no longer exist.

Our current historical moment is suspended between polarizing speed and stillness. Speed has become a part of a world full of conflict, and has multiplied and expanded.

As of 2017, Jordan still does not have a nationwide household recycling program. This exhibition aims to highlight the large amount of waste created on a daily basis throughout the country, and seeks to create awareness about the importance of properly recycling, reusing, and disposing of waste.

As Amman looks to institutionalize resilience planning citywide, Resilience by Design University (RBD_U) is an opportunity for academics, students and practitioners to come together through a two-day event focused on Amman’s challenges of water, waste and transportation.

This translation workshop is part of a larger knowledge dissemination project initiated by CLUSTER which aims to bring together experts, both academics and practitioners, in the fields of arts, design, architecture and urbanism.

Through this interactive session, participants will be introduced to the history and origin of coffee, in addition to learning the design and process of coffee preparation, type of roasts and variant origin or beans.
