About the Workshop
As part of developing an ongoing platform for a Critical Arabic Urban Lexicon, The Cairo Lab for Urban Studies, Training and Environmental Research (CLUSTER) and Studio-X Amman, a regional platform for architecture design and research run by Columbia GSAPP and the Columbia Global Centers Amman, are organizing the second translation workshop to be held in Amman in 2017 in collaboration with the Sijal Institute. This translation workshop is part of a larger knowledge dissemination project initiated by CLUSTER which aims to bring together experts, both academics and practitioners, in the fields of arts, design, architecture and urbanism. This is a closed door roundtable workshop. Applicants with suitable backgrounds in bilingual practices of architecture, urbanism, art, and design should direct their expression of interest with the subject (CAUL Participation) to Ali As’ad at: ali.asad@clustercairo.org
