About May Khoury

May Khoury started her career as an independent designer driven by pride and appreciation of the region's rich heritage. Growing up in Ramallah surrounded by hand-embroidered dresses and a home decorated with traditional crafts, Khoury wanted to create a space that celebrated these aspects of regional material culture, and in 1999, she established Badr Adduja.
