About the Exhibition

This exhibition comes as a continuation of Bader Mahasneh’s search of the aesthetics of the human figure within the different visual contexts and combinations; the sculpting focus was on shifts related to his interest in understanding the human within its animal and plant extensions as well as its vitality in general.  As for the paintings, the focus is on movement through the centrality of the eyes as the starting and concluding visual point, and through riding the adventure of color and dynamic movement that takes the artist’s focus out of the eyes and bring him right back to them. Opening night is on 8 October, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

About Bader Mahasneh

Bader Mahasneh is a Jordanian artist born in Jerash in 1977, and has become a prominent influence on the local art scene. Mahasneh has held multiple solo exhibitions in Jordan, US and Germany, and has participated in group exhibitions in Jordan, Sweden, Bahrain, Italy, Lebanon and USA.
