As a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, School of Architecture and Built Environment - GJU, hosts a photography exhibition at Dialogpunkt / The German Lounge, organized by the Goethe-Institut Jordanien in collaboration with Darat al Tasweer. The group exhibition showcases the results of a photography competition that highlights the influence of Bauhaus on Jordanian architecture.

About Dialogpunkt Deutsch (DPD) / The German Lounge

Dialogpunkt Deutsch (DPD) / The German Lounge is a special form of cooperation between the Goethe-Institut and the German-Jordanian University that is meant to provide an open, interactive, and creative space for educational and intercultural exchange as well as being a complementary hub for the activities of the Goethe-Institut. The DPD is designed particularly to invite young people to better get to know Germany, its language, and its culture by providing free access to information, as well as educational and cultural activities.

The German Jordanian University’s School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) is located at Darat Othman Bdair and Darat Ibrahim Hashim in Jamal Amman. The two main streams at SABE are Architecture and Design and Visual Communication.
