About Khordda

Khordda, an Arabic word that means scattered or discarded objects, is an imaginative and hands-on community who are passionate about finding renewed purposes and creating functional products from objects and materials – like plastic bags and bottles – that others may consider useless and obsolete waste. Khordda was founded by Hana Faouri, who has been working in upcycling since 2008 and engaging local communities in the production of sustainable products and providing them with a platform to sell their products.
