This two-day workshop is on a new genre of Islamic patterns, developed by Professor Mohammad Yaghan and published in a book under the same title. It introduces participants to the theoretical background and design principles, allowing them to produce final products using laser cutting technology. Price includes a book, course outline, materials, usage of computers, laser cutting, and specialists assisting.

With an education of a multicultural dimension (Jordan, UK, Japan), Prof. Yaghan was exposed to different systems of thought and induction in research and design. His research focuses on computerization of Islamic art, avoiding repetition and creating the new utilizing the logic of the form rather than copying it.
