The workshops are flexible in nature, format and content and bring hands-on activities while also providing an opportunity for cultural exchange with friends. Each workshop can host up to seven participants.

About Turquoise Mountain

Turquoise Mountain is a non-profit organisation founded by HRH The Prince of Wales to revitalise historic areas and traditional crafts. In Jordan, Turquoise Mountain is collaborating with some of the most skilled artisans working in different craft disciplines, including mother of pearl inlay, wood mosaic, and metalwork, to design and produce a range of products. Furthermore, they foster apprenticeship programs designed to restore traditional crafts with a focus on woodworking, silversmithing and embroidery. Lastly, they conduct cultural heritage activities for children and youth across the country. Turquoise Mountain’s home in Jordan is located in Jabal Amman in a building dating from the 1940’s. In addition to its offices, it houses a showroom, training and production workshops, and a space for cultural heritage activities.
