About the Workshop

A short seminar that introduces participants to the newest software from Autodesk – Fusion 360. The talk will give an overview of the software and will tackle a different topic each day. The four-day workshop will teach participants how to design parts and models with stable and dynamic joints, transferring any idea from imagination to reality. The first day of the workshop will go over how to design smart furniture, the second will focus on mechanical parts and joints, and the third will tackle rendering and animation. The final day of the workshop will consist of a two-hour optional examination in English for participants to apply the skills they’ve learned. Register here.

About Lama Aqel

Lama Aqel is an architect working currently as an exterior and interior designer. Lama also trains students in the MENA region on engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Fusion 360.  She has trained more than 400 students in workshops that depart engineering and design knowledge. She also works with schools in Jordan to teach students how to use Fusion 360 and 3D printers.

Omniplan is a Jordanian engineering company made of three departments: training, BIM projects and visualization. Established in January 2013, Omniplan is an authorized training, certification and exam center for Autodesk and ChaosGroup.
