About the Exhibition

Raya Kassisieh creates a socially fueled spatial installation between fiber and clay. The clay used will be created by members of Bayt Silsal at Ruwwad. Bayt Silsal is an organization which currently provides 16 young men and women with disabilities a creative space to experiment and produce various types of artwork. This installation fills the interior of Wadi Finan’s Art gallery, combining the dense clay and the malleability and lightness of the fiber to create an interactive and visually stimulating experience. Opening 8 October, 6 - 8 pm.
