Textile Innovation Lab I - Material Innovation was the first in a series of workshops and programs and held in a collaboration between Amman Design Week and Goethe Institute - Jordan, and took place 9 - 18 December 2018.

The workshop took place over nine days and included a series of introductions to local practices and tours to factories and sites.

The workshop also included site visits to textile production facilities in Jordan, where participants learned about traditional techniques such as natural dying, paper making, embroidery and weaving.
