The purpose of this workshop was to establish the groundwork for a design association in Jordan – one that helps advance design as a profession, provides tools and resources to designers, and establishes design as a key force in society. This interactive seminar explained the concept behind green healthy homes. Children were introduced to environmentally responsible approaches to site conditions, energy efficiency, water efficiency, material economy and indoor environmental quality pertaining to residences in Amman, Jordan while presenting them with a model of a green home in addition to relevant illustrations and devices.
