Sounds of Design is a sound exhibition that highlights the processes of creation across a number of design fields. An immersive space with a carefully designed speaker system takes visitors on a journey through the sounds of materials, machines, human interactions, and other components that go into the creation of a design product, whether an item of furniture, piece of clothing, or an aesthetically pleasing dish.

Designer May Khoury gives a talk about Badr Adduja’s concept and upcycling vision. Join May Khoury to learn the story behind each piece of design, a process in which she modernizes and changes the purpose of old traditional heritage pieces, while preserving their authenticity.

This workshop introduces globally recognized crystalline glazing techniques to artists. The workshop will include a slideshow of artists and their work, samples of pots and ceramic designs and an exhibition of different steps, tools and equipment needed. The workshop will end with a question and answer session.
