This talk gives participants an introduction to energy efficiency, the challenges associated with it, and an overview of energy efficient products.​

This talk by Shifa’a Al-Khatatbeh, addresses the importance of sustainability in buildings, the concepts and applications of Green Building and Rating Systems (LEED, JGBG). The talk will end with a discussion of a case study on the Izzat Marji Headquarters.

Participants of this workshop will receive an introduction to basic garden design, and will be asked to come up with an abstract drawing that will be transformed into a garden plan. Participants will learn a simplistic method of transforming shapes into garden areas and plans.
