This two-day workshop aims to provide an understanding of fashion design through three-dimensional experimentation. Participants will learn about fashion design principles by experimenting with fabric on the mannequin, allowing for an instant visualization of ideas, as they would appear on the body. They will drape, gather, pleat and pin fabric, and develop experimental ideas on paper to create a capsule collection of draped designs.

Edelina Joyce Issa is a stylist, instructor and consultant. Issa worked for brands such as Mother of Pearl, George, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Victoria Beckham. Edelina launched her eponymous label with a ready-to-wear line. Her work combines a modern conceptual vision, with a minimal classic design aesthetic.
