As visual cultural identity is in flux, we wonder how such identity was constructed in the first place. This talk will present a project where people were invited to shuffle through their visual memory, to identify colors, sounds, and rituals that shaped their memories of childhood. Kuwait was used as a starting point, but these concepts apply anywhere images, design aesthetics and architecture is changing.
