ONExUNICEF Humanitarian Change-maker Labs discuss their journey with participants who have produced distinguished product designs around themes of social change and innovation for good. They discuss their stories of change-making and how a desire to solve their community problems at Za'atari Camp has catalyzed their vision of problem-solving in the MENA region. Three projects are on display at Amman Design Week; ‘Microscope X’ a low-cost microscope designed by Abbas Bassam Al Faouri (22), and ‘The Atom’, a write-in-the-dark pen, designed by Ibrahim Al Zu’bi (21) and Mohammad Naeem Al Hamadi (21), and ‘The Grow Globe’ by Seba Basel Al Diri (19), an urban agriculture solution that will be placed in the UNICEF youth center in the camp and will provide a green, safe, and inspirational space for youth.
