About the Workshop
In collaboration with Amman Design Week, join international designers, academics, and city officials to learn together and workshop some of the region's most pressing urban challenges at Resilience by Design University (RBD_U). As Amman looks to institutionalize resilience planning citywide, RBD_U is an opportunity for academics, students and practitioners to come together through a two-day event focused on Amman’s challenges of water, waste and transportation. The program partners with local and regional universities to introduce resilience initiatives from the Resilient Amman strategy, and prototype solutions for local challenges. The program format will be a two-day workshop split between theory and practice.
