Announcing the Student Ambassador Program
The selected ambassadors, who also came recommended by their institutions, met with the Amman Design Week’s team to co-develop their responsibilities and share their ideas for cross-university extracurricular collaboration. Aside from assisting in developing our platform, the ambassadors act as an important connecting point between Amman Design Week and universities, and help facilitate our annual road show where we share opportunities for participation with students.
Our student program includes a cross-university Student Exhibition, which takes place during Amman Design Week following a 6-month mentorship program. Other programs also include internship and job placements, as well as competitions and learning programs. The latest of our student programs is a collaboration with the MicroFund for Women, where students in graphic design are working with women in home-based food businesses in Amman to develop their branding and packaging, and will be running throughout the months of July and August 2019.
