This workshop introduces participants to the art of pottery-making, with a focus on utilizing clay and grit to create ornaments or functional pieces for daily-use purposes. Participants will learn about the stages of oven glazing and how to shape clay manually using the clay wheel, and will make one piece for each technique they learn.

In cooperation with the Goethe Institute (the German Cultural Center), the Children's Museum Jordan hosts the Science Film Festival, where children can watch short science films on scientific topics, discoveries, and quests and enjoy scientific activities.

Taking place at the Children’s Museum Jordan’s Tinker Lab, this workshop is designed for children to tinker with old toys and transform them into new creations. Each participant will choose a toy, deconstruct it, and then reconstruct it again to create an new invention.

Immersive Spaces provoke curiosity and encourage connectivity. Humans by nature are naturally drawn to experiences that engage the senses, because we construct and deconstruct through our senses and emotions. When attempting to convey an educational message through a physical space it is important to understand the different layers involved in the project.
