Fusion 360TM is a 3D CAD, CAM, and CAE tool that connects the entire product development process in a single cloud-based platform. This workshop covers how to using Fusion360 to design furniture models. Participants will simulate models with both stable and dynamic joints, and transform their 3d models using a 3d printer.

This workshop will include hands-on activities in electrical engineering for students from 11–16 years old. Students will get an introduction to how electrical circuits work and how to build these circuits practically. Each participant will receive an electronic educational kit to implement these activities.

Max Fraser joins the designer and curator of Amman Design Week’s Hangar Exhibition, architect Sahel Al Hiyari and the Director of the Center for the Study of the Built Environment, architect and architectural historian Mohammad Al-Asad, in a talk that will explore new technologies, consumption, changing attitudes from consumers and clients, and global problems as they relate to the world of design.

Filippo Protasoni studied in Italy and Norway, graduating from Politecnico di Milano. He has designed for important Italian brands, such as Lago, Prandina, Miniforms, Sintesi and Mirabello.

It is a vision that represents a place, not a point, and allows enough space to hit the target. This workshop will answer: What vision do I need in today’s world? How do I make my vision resilient? In this speech Paul Hughes will draw live as he speaks along ten meters of paper. He calls this unique form of storytelling Ten Meters of Thinking.
