Aljoud Lootah is a multidisciplinary designer based in Dubai, UAE. Lootah’s work explores the realms of product design and personalized corporate gifts. She established her studio with a keen interest in the idea of contrasts in form and function. At the heart of Lootah’s inspiration are patterns, folds, and geometric shapes. As a product designer, she has been involved in projects that distinctly interpret Emirati culture, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Two products from her Oru Series (2015) were acquired by the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia.
