Khammash's methodology and scope encompass diverse fields such as history, geology, archeology, ecology, ethnography, botany, and socio-economics. His methodology also seeks a better reading of landscape and a deeper understanding of its anatomy and complexity.
Listening to the Secret Sounds of the Desert is a prototype for a musical instrument resulting from the research of inherent sounds of desert flints. These are found in the geological formation of the Cretaceous period in the eastern Badia of Jordan.
Zoomorphic wood stoves that recall the traditional stoves still used in Jordan. The material is steel that has been welded at a blacksmith’s workshop in the north of Irbid.
