The workshop was held under guidance and mentorship by Samer Yamani, the Creative Director of CreaCities, and Matteo Silvero, a glassblowing expert from Murano Italy.

The Innovative Crafts Lab took place over four phases, starting from an introduction in design in September 2018.

The second phase included research, concept design, and online coaching, where participants continued to develop their products in collaboration with selected craftspeople to develop a fresh concept.

Innovative Crafts Lab (Clay & Glassblowing)

Participants learned in the third phase about design development, prototyping and online coaching. And participated in online sessions with the CreaCities team to develop the final design and prepare the prototype production.
