Jewellery Artist Esna Su shares her journey of creating evocative sculptural pieces. Her body of work subtly explores the issues of identity and memory and how these are shaken in the context of political instability. She envelops her pieces with heritage, using traditional Turkish techniques of weaving, twining, and crochet, skills often used in her hometown of Antioch, Turkey. During the presentation, Su will be sharing her design process in more detail and will explain how she creates her body of work from traditional crafts.

This talk is sponsored by the British Council.
